Lonach 2022

Although the majority of bookings for us throughout the summer was for golfing events or corporate travel, we were fortunate to have the a booking for Lonach Highland Games. This was the first time heading up to the iconic Highland Games at Lonach and the drive up to Strathdon did not disappoint. Although the winding roads, the scenery was amazing, we truly are spoilt in Scotland. As we approached Bellabeg the crowds started to appear, many walking to the park after partaking in a wee dram locally.

This year was the 179th games and as always a bumper crowd was expected. Many of the attendees travelled from all over the world, and were making the most of the vast camping grounds. Although the many attractions, whether it be Dancing, pipe bands or the fairgrounds, the main attraction at the gathering is the march of the Lonach Highlanders, a unique body of non-military men.

After a fantastic day at the games for our group, it was time to pack up and head back to Aberdeen. Back in the comfort of one of our luxury vehicles.
